Healing Heart Therapy Co.
Jacquie Pershing, LCSW

Hi, I’m Jacquie. I’m so glad you found your way here.
MY APPROACH
My work is rooted in relationship. I believe that healing happens in the context of feeling seen, heard, and met with care. Creating a space that feels steady, respectful, and human is essential to the work we do together. I approach therapy relationally and integratively, which means I pay close attention not only to what you’re saying, but to what’s happening in your body, your nervous system, and the space between us. Over time, we may begin to notice patterns that once helped you survive but no longer feel supportive. Together, we can gently explore those patterns and make room for new ways of relating to yourself and others. I don’t believe in rushing insight or forcing change. Our work unfolds in relationship and at a pace that allows for real integration. The focus is not on fixing you, but on supporting healing, strengthening your sense of self, and tending to what has been left unresolved with care.
MY VALUES
I hold this work with deep respect. My approach is grounded in ethics, empathy, and inclusivity, as well as an awareness of how systems of care, medicine, and culture shape our experiences of grief, illness, and loss. I believe in our human capacity to heal and to change, even when things feel stuck or overwhelming. I also believe that grief deserves space, not judgment, and that healing does not mean forgetting or moving on. It means learning how to live alongside what has changed, with more steadiness and self-compassion. It is an honor I don’t take lightly to walk alongside people in this work. I carry clients’ stories with care, and I aim to create a space where you can feel respected, worthy, and more at home in your body and your inner world.
MY CREDENTIALS
I am a licensed clinical social worker providing therapy to adults (18 and older) in Pennsylvania and California. My work is integrative, evidence-based, and grounded in trauma- and grief-informed care. I am trained in Brainspotting and incorporate body-based approaches alongside relational therapy. I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the NAACP, and I bring these values of ethics, care, and social justice into my work.
